  40. I managed to get it working after poking around in man and the keymap
  41. files, thanks. The problem was that it was mapped to "sterling" and
  42. "currency", neither of which seem to work. Is there any way of getting a
  43. pound sign?

  45. Also, I found a directory /usr/lib/kbd/videomodes containing a README
  46. which said I could use the "restoretextmode" command so I can save mode
  47. details for the resize command. Unfortunately I can't find
  48. restoretextmode.

  50. I have to say getting X to work is a lot more painless than NetBSD
  51. though :-).
